A sprung slatted base is fitted which will act as a shock absorber to prolong the lifespan of your mattress and provide pressure sensitive support. Set out in two rows, the slats are separated by a central rail that strengthens the middle, whilst two support legs rest on the floor to ensure no roll-together. Concealed below the slightly curved slats is its large compartment which will provide you with more storage than a standard 4 drawer divan base. Access to the storage compartment is easy, simply pull on the strap at the foot of the bed and it will rise with the help of its internal gas piston mechanism.
