John Guest Speed fit reducer push-fit fitting for the connection of plastic or copper pipe. The reduced spigot end allows for two Speed fit push-fit fittings to be connected and creates a swivel-type connection while reducing the line size. Just push the push-fit fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to secure it in place. Demount the connection by unlocking the nut by hand and push the collet towards the body of the push-fit fitting and pull the pipe to release. The John Guest Speed fit reducer push-fit fitting is up to 40 percentage faster to install than other traditional methods and is easier to use in confined spaces by removing the need for hot works and tools.
